Emma Watson, our Hermione Granger, has decided to attend Brown University this fall, where she hopes to be known as "the student from the U.K.," as opposed to "Emma Watson, who starred in those Harry Potter films." Good luck with that, Em.WARNER BROTHERS Watson is a smarty-pants on and off screen.
Watson confirmed her choice to Paste magazine. She had looked at a number of schools in the U.S., including Harvard, Yale and Columbia. No word on why she settled on Brown, but she does plan on studying literature at the Providence, R.I., Ivy, the alma mater of John Krasinksi, Laura Linney, JoBeth Williams, John Kennedy Jr., and a number of young royals. - by Vicki Hyman/The Star-Ledger
